Content updates don't install

Each time I check for content updates, the same updates are there (a steadily growing list). When I select updates to install, then click Install, they download, a dialog shows "Installing", and when Accordance restarts it still shows the (applied) updates still show in the list. For example, I have ESVS at v3.3 currently, and when I select ESVS to upgrade to v3.4, everything appears to proceed normally, yet when Accordance restarts I'm told I still have v3 installed.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

I'm running on Mac OS X 10.9.5 on a Macbook Pro 17", with 8GB RAM. Haven't had any other issues with Accordance.

Thanks,

Stuart.

Sorry for the basic question, but did you also already click OK in the second dialogue box that asks you to click it to install the just downloaded updates?

It may be an issue with the permissions on your Accordance folder with the modules. It's best to contact tech support to help sort it out. Where is your folder: Hard Drive/Library/Application Support or User/Library/Application Support?

Thanks Helen. I checked the ownership of the files (which were located in /Library/Application Support/Accordance and found them all owned by 'root'. A few months ago I installed a solid-state drive in my Macbook and restored everything from a Time Machine backup. Not sure why those files ended up being owned by 'root', but a quick sudo chown -R "/Library/Application Support/Accordance" stuart did the job. I just installed the new ESVS v3.4 and it "took".

Thanks for the support and pointer.
