Convert Acc10 note file to Acc11 note format

I have an Accordance 10 note file which was not converted automagically by Accordance 11 (in another work location on DropBox).

How do I manually or individually convert that Accordance 10 notes file to Accordance 11 format ?

If the notes file is listed in Accordance, you can convert it in Preferences -> User Files.

I suspect you meant File->User Files. However it does not appear in the list. The same situation works with an Acc10 tool. Did they lose something in DropBox? I am traveling without my normal laptop or backups available...

Mick, if they aren't appearing in your Library at all, that means they are not installed, for whatever reason. You can add them back to Accordance by double-clicking them in the Finder or using File -> Open.

All v10 notes and tools are fully compatible, without change, with v11. You only need to upgrade to the new notes format if you want to take advantage of the new features. To do this upgrade is what I was referring to in, yes, Preferences -> User Files. However, based on your screenshot your notes were already upgraded. Which notes file are you missing?

Edit: Looking more at your screenshot, my guess is the "NT Reading Notes" file is the one you would like restored. The old, archived version is in Old User Notes, and it looks like you copied it and moved it back to 'User Notes', hoping this would add it back to Accordance. I would first rename it to "NT Reading Notes.acc4" and then double-click it to add it back to Accordance.

It also may be best to simply contact Technical Support so they can quickly help you sort this out.

Regarding conversion. I got a few weird notes. No big deal. I'll fix them over time. But all the hypertext supposed to be the color chosen in the Preferences > User Notes Display? The Scripture Reference for the note is in the chosen color, but the hyperlinks within the text are black. Is this how it's supposed to work?

Thanks.

The above instruction worked successfully on the user note. Thanks.
