Edit User Note shows empty default font

Hi ya,

 

Win 7

Acc 11.0

 

I changed the default font from Segoe UI Light to Cardo and size from 16 to 14 and saved that preference - User Files -> All Edit Windows

Now when I open the note edit window I see this :

 

 

Note that the font pull down is blank.

 

It appears the font is correctly set but its not indicated.

In addition, attempting to use the pull down menu to set it or any other font there is another problem.

If I select a font from the list I see a different name in the pull down menu after selection that the one I in fact selected. Curiously it seems to be a font from 10 list elements above the one I selected. Though interestingly if I select one from the recently usd list from the top of the pull down list it does appear correctly in the pull down menu widget after selection.

You confirmed my #3 below in Bugs typing/copying Unicode . . . in User Notes,

although my font is 9 list elements above the one selected.

 

Can you confirm the other things I mentioned? There might be a difference in your Windows 7 and my Windows 8.1 OSs.

 

Also, your changing the default font reminded me of my request for a bar to scroll through the fonts in User Notes. There is such a bar in preferences, which we might use a few times a year, but no bar in the User Notes, which we use daily.

I was actually looking to be able to type letters of the font name and have it relocate the cursor in the pull down. But then a scroll bar would be good too.

 

I tried a couple of things and made an update to the other thread.
