Crash when syncing iPad with MBAir

This is after a reboot of the Air and a restart of Accordance. The devices connected quickly. When the Sync button was clicked, nothing happened for a a little bit. Then all windows except the sync window closed. Then Accordance crashed. All devices are running the most recent versions of OS and software. Here's the crash log.

EDIT: By not syncing either User Notes or Highlights, I was able to get a successful sync. Then I added back in User Notes. Success. I added two of the Highlights files. Success. Then added the rest. Success. I also had had a successful sync with my iPhone. Then when I tried again, I got a crash. When following the same procedure I used for the iPad, I was able to get User Notes and Highlights files back on the iPhone as well.
