theblackbluejay
Possibly a naïve question/simply an omission amidst the forum links on my part, but what is the best way to inform the Accordance staff if I think that there is an error within a module? Suppose that I have a module on Accordance and in paper, and the module contains a small error somewhere? Or if I see something within a module that I suspect or know is a (admittedly small) problem, what is the best way to communicate that to the staff? Over the last 2.5 years I have used Accordance quite extensively, in course work and in research, and on rare occasion I find a textual problem in a module, and I'd like to help however I can. Thanks for the info! Sincerely, David
Joel Brown
David, on Accordance for Mac or Windows, you can right click your suggested correction and use the 'Report a Correction' option available from the right-click menu. On Accordance for iOS, or for any other situation, please e-mail us at corrections --at-- accordancebible.com.
theblackbluejay
Thanks for the info, Joel! I'm sorry that I missed you all at SBL this year (you gave me a tour of the Accordance atlas and Timeline in Chicago 2 years ago), but I plan to make it next year. theblackbluejay
Joel, I just thought of another question that often occurs to me: When I update modules, the update box indicates the current version of the module that is installed, and the version number of the module that is available to be downloaded. Towards the bottom is a note to Click for details, and contains a link. But this link goes to the product page. What if I wanted to know what changes were made between in the module between the version that I have in that moment and the version that I am upgrading to? Is there a way to learn this information? For certain kinds of work, this would be very helpful. Shalom, David Edited December 1, 2014 by David Harris
Joel Brown
For now, we don't post the list of changes in each upgrade. Generally they are just typographical errors or technical improvements, and we post in the forums or blog if the updates are more significant.
