circuitrider
Don't know if this would be possible but... It would be nice if we could assign keyboard shortcut combos to our custom workspaces.
circuitrider
For anyone interested... I didn't think about trying to use the Keyboard Shortcuts in the Mac System Preferences to assign a shortcut to my Accordance workspaces. It works! I think this can also be done through Alfred if you use that launcher. Edited December 4, 2014 by circuitrider
Anthony Sepulveda
Hmm, since we don't have Alfred for Windows (well, maybe there's an equivalent), I'll chime in to ask for this feature in the program.
Λύχνις Δαν
@circuitrider - what exactly does your keyboard shortcut look like ? I assumed this would be possible on Mac but I haven't actually tried it out. Depending upon what you are doing it may be possible to replicate on Windows. tx D

If you are asking what my key combos look like, I am using Shift+Option+Command+(letter of my choosing).
Λύχνις Δαν
Actually what I meant was what is it that the key stroke combination you chose actually run when you invoke it ? Thx D Edited December 4, 2014 by Daniel Semler
circuitrider
Daniel, When I use the keyboard shortcuts I have assigned in System Preferences>Keyboards>Shortcuts it launches the workspace. This only works from within Accordance though because the shortcut is application specific and assigned to a menu command, in this case, File>Open Workspace>"*****". Λύχνις Δαν
Great - that's the detail I wanted to see. It's basically what I thought you meant but wanted to be sure. I'll have to poke about. Tx D
Λύχνις Δαν
Ok I did it but I put it in another post as it's a bit lengthy and might want to be found more easily. http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14710 Thx D
Abram K-J
Related to this request, and maybe even easier to implement: could we have a keyboard shortcut installed in Accordance for opening a new Workspace? Command-N does a new Tab, but Shift-Command-N gives the <NOR> command... perhaps the later keyboard shortcut (or another) could give way to a New Workspace? (I realize I can set my own keyboard shortcut in System Preferences, but a native one would be nice.)
