Julia Falling
How do I add the bar for a nomen sacra to πνι (Galatia SIL) in my notes? I had no problems doing this in Helena. When I make the attempt now using either the Characters window (⌥⌘4) or the keyboard shortcut (⇧⌥ - e), the bar replaces the Greek. Is it even possible in Galatia? Thanks. P.S. Can the Character Viewer available from the toolbar on the Mac (in any application) be used to insert text or diacritical marks into Accordance? I use GreekTH, and the overbar is opt - (hyphen). I tested this in a User Note with Galatia SIL and do see that it does not work correctly. I'm guessing that either the text renderer is the issue, or maybe the codepoint is not supported. I also tested this in TextEdit with Galatia SIL and even there it does not render quite right. An alternative suggestion here is to use a different method for noting the contraction, e.g. πν(ευματ)ι. This does not have the same visual effect, but is technically more precise. Julia Falling
Thanks, Rick. I'll use your suggestion for indicating the abbreviation.
