Thanks, Daniel.

I've read all these. So far, haven't found anyone specifically addressed the questions I want to find answer for, i.e., How NWP/Mellel works with Zotero, and what are differences between LibreOffice and NWP/Mellel.

Ah ok - I'm afraid I don't know that myself.

Thx

I’m learning a lot of app information from this thread. Thanks for the experienced contributions everybody.

I think I’ll re-check Evernote.

I think I’ll look into GoodReader, PDF Expert, iAnnotate and whatever else gets an honorable mention.

Fair enough, but I don't use Accordance the way I use these other programs. On iOS I mainly want my Accordance texts because I use the iOS version primarily as a reader or to look up something quickly. As note-taking features improve on iOS, maybe I will use note-taking features more often.
I use my iPhone similarly; primarily for reading and secondarily for notes on the fly.

As for notes, I use to just travel with a Moleskine.

But now I use the Notes app with dictation. My notes are not extensive; meant merely as a memory jog.

For a while, I was embarrassed to talk into my phone for notes. But it’s a phone!

I talk to myself all the time, so people think it's an improvement if I have have a phone in my hand :)

Try opening them in GoodReader. I can tell you right away that your bookmarks and annotations would remain intact.

Michel: there is also iAnnotate (my personal favorite) and PDF Expert to consider.

Hi Rick and Abram,

I create Bookmarks in Adobe on the desktop; see the screenshot.

Attached File  Bookmarks in Adobe desktop.PNG   431.01KB   0 downloads

Now, these don't appear as Bookmarks in GoodReader, but as Outlines. In the manual it says, "Embedded bookmarks (Outlines) are structurized in a tree hierarchy." Rick, I can't find a way to edit or add to Outlines in GoodReader. Do you know a way? I can add Bookmarks, but they don't show up in Adobe CS on the desktop.

Abram, I see in the iAnnotate manual that Bookmarks in Adobe would also show as embedded Outlines. I can't find any information about editing them. Do you know if you can edit Outlines, especially add to them, in a hierarchical tree, or can you only add Bookmarks?

I use Accordance at many junctures in my workflow, so my questions are relevant to this Forum.

Thanks.

Regards,

Michel

Hi, Michel,

Sorry--I haven't used iAnnotate enough recently to know. If there's a simple workflow you're wondering about, though, you could suggest one to me (with steps), and I'd be happy to try it for you.
