Ctr V crashes accordance

Hi,

When I am trying to cut and paste in user notes accordance crashes. It immediately disappears as if it were closed. I have (obviously) restarted accordance several times and it persists as a consistent problem.

If it helps here is a more precise description. I am cutting from word and pasting into a new note. I got to the new note by clicking the add button at the bottom of the note edit window. Things work properly if I cut and paste into an existing note. It makes no difference if the origin of the cut was outside or inside of accordance. it was working for a while and then stopped.

Related (or maybe the same problem) often when I am creating a new note and try to type in that new note, accordance crashes.

I also wanted to add:

CTRL+ALT+a or ALTGR+a closes Accordance also (at least on Windows).

According to the shortcuts Accordance should only be closed when pressing CTRL+Q.

Now and then I press it accidently when I want to type @

I have a html file with the SBL convention like Gen. 1:1, and to import it in User Tools it works.

But if I change them to the german convention like Gen 1,1 Accordance 11.0.3 crashes every time.

Greetings

Fabian

This problem is still persisting.  I am not so sure that the Ctr V is causing it.  Instead, if you create a note by using the Add button on the bottom of the note window, the next thing you do will crash it.

Hi,

When you get a chance, if you can contact us in support at 407-339-0266, email us at support@accordancebible.com, or Skype us at: oaktreesupport Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Eastern, we can try to help get this straightened out for you. We have seen a few of these instances recently where different versions of notes were in play. We usually have been able to get all of the notes to the same version and then isolate the bad file. We have had some luck, creating a new 'User Note' and then merging the troubled one into the new one.

It would be a good idea to make a copy of your Accordance Files folder (in Documents) before beginning, just to have a backup in case anything goes wrong.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Billy
