I found this foible while trying out Timeline searches and I was looking to find *John to see if it would find the various letters as well as the various Johns in the TL. *John also finds 1 Corinthians and so I tried just *. I would normally expect a * search to find everything but apparently that doesn't happen in the TL. I'm guessing this is a bug but then I've only had the TL since Boxing Day. Helen Brown Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 In both the Atlas and the Timeline, the search just lets you pick items from the list. It does not support wildcards. So amplifying from John the Baptist led to the TL highlighting a lot of John references that were not the baptist. But yes that works better. If the TL/Atlas don't support wildcards it's probably best to prevent their use, though I'd prefer to see them supported. Anyhow, thanx for the info.
