Make bible references clickable (lookup in new tab)

It'd be great if bible verses were clickable so that you can cmd-click on them to open in a new tab.

This would be particularly useful when various references have been returned and you'd like to see a particular passage's context or focus in on it.

This is essentially performing a "Search in (current version)" but more quickly than a popup / submenu. Perhaps cmd-opt click could bring up the Search-in submenu as a popup.

Seems like a fairly easy but useful addition.

Select the reference, then type Cmd-5. The verse will open in context in a text pane.

Thanks for the workaround.

I think, however, that what I'm suggesting would be generally more convenient for the simple case of seeing the context... that is, making verse references hyperlinked. I would presume being able to preview the context via Instant Details would also be desirable, right?

To be clear: I'm thinking about ergonomics:

My suggestion (making Bible references hyperlinked) = single click whilst holding cmd key. One movement = fast.

Right clicking = click, drill down to submenu "Search In...", etc. This is Clunky, though useful at times.

Cmd-5ing = select reference, then type cmd+5. Helpful for now, but when dealing with a plethora of search results I suspect won't be as convenient.
