Setup Assistant login-problems on imac

Hi All,

 

it is my first day with the Accordance Software and i have a problem on my mac (yosemite 10.10.1).

The registration on my windows pc works fine, but when i start the same login on my mac i have an error.

(Account information false - Unable to Login)

 

I think it is a mac-problem. I switch off the firewall, but i can't login. :(

 

Can someone help me?

(FIRST TIME USER -- EASY INSTALL On Mac download the Accordance 11 DMG and drag the Accordance icon to the Applications icon. Open the Applications folder and run Accordance.)

On Yosemite please check on your proxy settings. Go into your System Preferences by clicking on the Apple. In there, first go into 'Network' and click on the 'Advanced' button. Then click on the 'Proxies' button and make sure that 'Auto Proxy Discover' and "Auto Proxy Configuration' are unchecked.

Unchecked means without checkmark?
They are unckecked, but i can't login.

Hello

 

I found the reason.

In my password i used the character "&".

I change the password and cancel this character and it works :)

I am not sure, but it seems that the Mac can't handle it.

Yes, we do recommend simple alphanumeric passwords, and will soon have that as a tip on our login page.
