Hebrew search question

I'm reading Nah 3:10 which has a Qal perfect of a geminate root ydd. I wanted to check if there are any other geminate roots with a yod as first radical.

[VERB qal perfect] (2=)??? my search query was like this at start then I changed the first question mark into a yod, but it seems like this query does not let me choose the first radical. Is it possible and how should I search it?

Thanks!

This is a bug. This search should work, as an Analysis of ???(=2) gives this:

יבב to cry = 1
‏ידד to cast = 3
‏ילל to wail = 31
‏(ילל) יְלֵל howling = 1
‏(ימם) יֵמִם hot springs = 1
‏(ישׁשׁ) יָשֵׁשׁ infirm = 1
(יתת) יְתֵת Jetheth = 2

We will look into it.

Oops, I stand corrected. You need to search for y??(=1) since the number in brackets refers to the number of the wildcard in the series, not the number of the character.

Helen beat me to it. The Accordance Help file shows the example here:

file:///Applications/Accordance.app/Contents/Resources/Accordance%20Help/Default.htm#topics/06_braa/searches_using_symbols.htm?Highlight=wildcard

"

a??(=1) Finds "all", "add", and "ass" but not "and" (the =1 means that this wild-card character must match the first wild-card character).
