rpavich
I did a search on "LORD" and found that the source of that word in the KJV was 6 different Key numbered Hebrew words.I ran the analytics just fine (a little report about it) but what I ended up with was a verse list of hundreds of verses that weren't sorted by the results. It would be great to be able to spit out a verse list with the verses under the heading of the results like:H3060Is. 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.Is. 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.Is. 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.H0113Is. 1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. 11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.Is. 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Joel Brown
One of the problems of this technique is dealing with verses that contain *both* key numbers. What you may want to do is simply refine your search. If you use the '@' sign, you can filter which Key number you prefer. Such as: LORD@[KEY H3060] When looking at your analysis, you can also build this up by selecting the term in the analysis tab and choosing Search Selection from the Amplify menu or toolbar. circuitrider
Hello rpavich, After doing your search for LORD go to your analytics and under "Word Count Totals" choose "analysis." This will show you the results by Key Number. If you right click on a Key Number, then choose the "Search in" option you can choose a key numbered text to search for that key number. Accordance will enter the Search argument (like the one Joel mentioned) for you. It will look something like this "=lord"@[KEY H0113] You will want to remove the = sign though or it will look for the exact form Edited January 14, 2015 by circuitrider
rpavich
Thanks guys but let me ask a question: So what you are advocating is essentially an easier way to do 6 different searches....right? I'm not complaining, just making sure I understand. I ended up doing 6 different searches so that I'd have results that I could separate in the word doc but I didn't it in a much harder way than you are suggesting.
