Concordance Questions

I did a concordance of the Hebrew Bible. Two questions.

 

1) Which translation of the Hebrew word did the concordance use and can I change the translation?

For example: the word "knowledge (6)

2) When I copied and pasted from the concordance to this page, why do a bunch of strange symbols appear?

Are you configured for Unicode export ?

This is from windows by the way.

Also perhaps it's the font it's in in this forum but maybe not - I tried a few - they look ok.

Do you mean In Unicode Display in preferences, I should check off "Use these fonts for unicode export"

When I did a right click and I tried now to paste from a hebrew text here, the "paste" is faded and not operative.

WHat am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure. I'll tell some settings I use and see if that helps at all.

In Prefs Export I have export all characters in Unicode checked and selected Cardo as my default font.

In Prefs Unicode Display I have my Original Language fonts for Greek and Hebrew set to Cardo. And I do not have "Use these fonts for unicode export" checked.

 

 

I like Cardo in case you hadn't guessed.

 

In the Concordance pane Customize Display options I have tried a number of fonts to check stuff out. I can get some weird characters with some of them but again I selected Cardo. I think that only affects what's on screen there and only the English text. The Hebrew does not change as I change stuff. I believe that is because they tend to display in a fix font for texts as they are not Unicode, but they convert to Unicode on export if you're set it up that way.

 

I tried a few things but I have not been able to reproduce the output you have above. Perhaps you can tell me your settings for the stuff above and I can double check.
