Managing memory verses

In my personal Bible study with a printed Bible, I highlight verses that I want to add to my list of memory verses. A verse highlighted in pink is a verse that I want to ultimately commit to memory. Can I do something similar in Accordance?

Here's my hope: As I read my ESV in Accordance, I want to be able to highlight (or tag) verses to be memorized. Additionally, I would like to print only my highlighted (or tagged) verses. Please tell me, is this possible in Accordance? How can I select certain verses in the ESV, and then print these verses in a list?

John,

Once you have highlighted some of the verses you are interested in memorizing, you can search for a style. There is a command for it - [sTYLE ?].

Ahh, that's helpful, Tim. Thank you. Does a [style] search look for a highlighting color, or the custom name of the highlight?

It looks for the custom name of the highlight

You can also accumulate verses of interest in a Reference list tab, save the workspace and continue to add verses which can also be removed, searched (with CONTENTS command) and printed in any parallel versions.

Thank you, Helen. The Reference List option sounds interesting because it will allow me to save a single verse to multiple categories ("Creation," "Marriage," etc.). However, I will be constantly afraid that I'll lose my tab because it didn't save.

I don't like manipulating my workspace at all ... every third time I save my workspace (after I've made a small adjustment), Accordance asks me for the "name" of the workspace and makes me over-right the original. I don't know why. If I get the name wrong by one character, I now have an additional workspace file that I didn't want. All I want is 3-4 workspaces ... this is for a different thread!

Thank you. John

Remember that you can rename each tab so you can have many Reference lists in the same workspace. Resaving a workspace should just save it, especially if you have renamed it to something unique.
