Rosemary Brown Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 I am also encountering weird behavior whenever I edit a User Note in 11.0.4, which I never encountered in earlier versions. My problem is not in a delayed typing response, but something else. This behavior occurs whenever I try to edit an already-created User Note (one which I have previously typed, closed, and re-opened). First, I double-click on a word to select it so that I can change it. After I change the word, I double click on that same word again so that I can copy it and paste it elsewhere. At that point, the double-click (which would normally select the entire word) selects all except the first letter of the word. For example, if I change the word "brave" to "valiant," and then double-click on "valiant," it selects "aliant" instead of "valiant." This happens consistently, each time I edit a word and subsequently double-click on it. I am using the Geneva font in my User Notes, the same font I have used in umpteen iterations of Accordance. This is maddening, because I edit my User Notes very, very frequently, and have to go back and make corrections each time I double-click an edited word. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? Jordan Gowing Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 I've had this issue for as long as I can remember, but I believe the lag is caused by the size of my user notes (per verse) more than anything else. When printed out, they come in around 10 pages per verse (which is actually multiple verses and contain all of my sermon research); the lag starts occurring when I get about halfway done. I would love this to be fixed, but I've always assumed it was a relatively unique problem of mine since I wasn't using the user notes they way they were meant. Fabian Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 I found the Typing Lag so "a pain in the butt"( dict.cc for "nervtötend") that I don't use the Editor in User Tools. And I do all with reimport the .htm files. But this is also "a .... .. ... ...." But I been hoping that with a future update the User Tool becomes all the great features that we talking here in the Forums before. Not only my requests, even from the others too. Fabian Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 When I work with BBEdit normal its fast like Accordance, but in a special configuration ( when you have made a lot of searches (show all) and don't close the last search windows, and then the limit of windows are full), it has the same time lag, like the User Tool Editor in Accordance. I don't say they Apps has an relationship, only that both has in a special configuration, the same issue, and the reaction time feels like the same.
