Synch with iPhone not working

I've read help and troubleshooting, and nothing works. I just got an iPhone and have Accordance for iOS. I've followed the instructions to synch, but the dialog box that is supposed to find my device can't find it. My iOS says "waiting for Accordance." What am I doing wrong? I'm on wi-fi with both devices. I also tried disconnecting ethernet.

Sorry you are having trouble syncing.

 

Assuming you are syncing an iPhone with a Mac (syncing with a PC is not yet available), make sure both the iPhone and the computer are on the same WiFi network. Sounds like you are correctly using sync on the iPhone; that is the message you should see. Now, select Accordance>Sync with Mobile Device. The computer should search for devices and find your iPhone. Once it does, select your iPhone and continue.
