Jonathan C. Borland
Hello Accordancers, I'd like to know how, or if it's even possible, to search for an actual asterisk in the text. This question relates to the CUNP-SIMP module (Chinese Union Version New Punctuation Simplified Character Edition), which has an asterisk (*) wherever a note in the text appears. In the print editions, the notes appear in the text enclosed in parentheses. In most Accordance text modules, the letter or number or asterisk indicating a note corresponds to a "notes" module where one can read the actual note. Unfortunately, I cannot find any corresponding notes module for the Chinese Union Version (simplified or traditional). At least I'd like to make a list of references where the CUV has included notes, and searching for the asterisks seems like it would be the easiest way, were the asterisk itself not a wild character in searches. Please help! Sincerely, Jonathan C. Borland
