Frequency lists and semantic domains

Hi Everyone, 

 

Just wondering if it is at all possible to create frequency lists in Greek (say, 50x and over) and have them categorically sorted according semantic domain (as in the categories in Louw and Nida?).

I once tried something a bit similar in BDAG. See http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/14427-searching-bdag-by-semantic-domain/You could probably do something similar here by using the search in a text tab and adding a [count x] to it.

Ideally you want to do something like a [count 50+] in a Greek text and then use [HITS tabname] in the L & N tab. But this is not supported. Even if it were you cannot readily constrain the output you get so post-processing is required. And yep you would have to do an iteration per query. It might be scriptable on the Mac with AppleScript.

 

I don't know of a simpler way.
