Editing User Tool in iOS

Is it possible to edit a User Tool in iOS? I'm in the process of building a user tool for all of my CPM training material and would like to seamlessly work between mac & iPhone. Is this possible?

No, this is not possible.

Any chance for the future? It'd be handy not to have to use a separate app since I often don't take my computer into the bush...

Remember that a Windows tablet will give you access to the full, desktop version of Accordance. That includes the ability to create and edit User Notes. Add a keyboard, stylus, solar charger, and external battery and you have everything you need in the bush.

When Apple releases iOS 9, with its  split screen and [limited] multitasking ability, more will be possible on the iPad Air. I anticipate we'll be able to move seamlessly between Accordance and a word processor. Whatever additions you'd like to make to your User Tool could be made there, then integrated into your User Notes files when you have access to a full computer. It's not a full version of OSX, of course, not even a limited one, but it's better than nothing.

We are gradually adding more features to Accordance Mobile, but I can't honestly say this one (editing User Tools) is near the top of the list. We've been   trying to prioritize those features that have been requested by the most users. This is the first time I recall hearing this one.

Accordance does have it's quirks... no editing UserTools in iOS and  no highlighting in desktop of user tools (at least I didn't find a way) but at least the highlights from iOS show up on the desktop.

Ya slim to no chance I'm going to acquire a windows tablet :) I actually just sold my iPad and fancy camera and paired down to Macbook & iPhone 6+. My wife would be quite mad if she saw you recommending I go for *another* tablet  :D

I don't know- I think my dream feature would be built in markdown support in iOS/desktop making a text edit box all that would be necessary for editing. I'll probably for the time being just use a scratch note in Editorial to sync between desktop/iphone and update the user tool in the desktop. Not as fluid as I'd like but it'll do.

[Chuckle] I hear you! Supporting all these devices can be an expensive proposition—and our spouses aren't always on board. I passed on my iPad mini (which I loved) to my college age daughter, then upgraded my iPhone to a 6 plus. Since it was perfect for the podcasts (it's 1080p), I figured I had my bases covered.

Now, iOS 9 is going to offer its split screen, which I really want to demo and use on podcasts. Sadly, the feature isn't available on my iPhone 6 plus. Doceri, which I had also used in podcasts, also won't work on anything but an iPad. That's still another reason to consider adding an iPad—but then it has to be an Air. I can't even use the mini! [Grrr]

I feel your pain.

A hearty +1 for User Tool editing on iOS.

Yes!

This is a very much coveted function in iAccord for me.  My Prayer Journal is in a User Tool.  So when we travel, and go light, I want to be able to function with just an iPad and keyboard.  Unless I put my Journal into a Pages document, I'm stuck.  Additionally, when one beta tests, there are occasional glitches in the syncing function, and I sometimes find myself unable to sync with Dropbox OR Accordance.  Again I'm left with having to rely on my Mac only.
