Joel Brown Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 The choice to show the cross highlighting in the source pane is actually an Accordance Preference in Preferences -> Instant Details -> Source Highlighting. We find many teachers actually like it, even with one pane, as it helps identify the word of choice, and indicates which words have Instant Details information. bcordoba Posted July 21, 2015 Author Share Posted July 21, 2015 I know this as I use it and that is why it shows up when I am in reading mode. My point was that in reading mode there is no need to have this feature active since there is no other text and I don't want to have to change that preference each time I enter reading mode!
