Susan
I’m thinking this was raised a long time ago but I’m having trouble finding the thread. Is there any possibility that we will be able to use more than 2 parallel panes in iOS anytime soon? This is probably not feasible on the iPhone, but even my iPad mini has plenty of room for three panes. I would love to be able to see two languages + commentary or three languages in parallel. (If there’s a way to do this now that I’ve missed, please let me know!)
Julia Falling
It's been a while since this was discussed, I think, but you're not alone. A full-sized iPad could easily handle four panes (2 up, 2 down) or three across in parallel. With the iPad Pro due out this fall, four in parallel ought to be doable – it has a screen as big as many laptops. My guess is that the iOS app is headed that direction. Have no idea about the ETA.

ukfraser
I would be happy with two panes for tools and not just text! ;o) Edited July 20, 2015 by ukfraser
Susan
Eventually. But there are higher priorities at the moment. Thanks, I'm glad to hear it's at least on the table. I understand that there are other priorities; this one would be high up on my list of desired features (because Accordance is otherwise Practically Perfect in Every Way ), but I understand that might not be the case for everyone. Timothy Jenney
Thanks for the support, everyone! Remember, iOS 9 on an iPad Air will allow us to place two apps side-by-side. I'm looking forward to having Accordance on one side and MS Word or Mellel on the other. I generally write articles in a word processor and research in Accordance. Just a reminder: flipping a finger down an iDevice screen will open Notifications. Under "Today" (if you have added Accordance) is a list of all the resources you have accessed on Accordance today. Tap on any one of them and Accordance will open that resource to the exact place you consulted it. This is a very fast way to access recent articles/verses. ukfraser
Thanks, but still on ipad 2 and much as i would love an ipad air2, really cant justify it. Too many other goodies in accordance to spend my money on without the uk price hike as its all in $. The ipad 2 still is a good bit of kit and can wait. I have accordance and notes on the go and use the 4 finger swipe. When i say two tools, What i would like is to have wbc and nivac on the same screen or ebc and ebc notes in parallel or wbc up twice to see notes and comments etc. or atlas and commentary. Lots of possibilities building on the current which is restricted to text + ;o)
