Michel Gilbert
Hi, Is there a way to isolate the final consonant of a Hebrew form, irrespective of how it is tagged, in a Hebrew Construct search? For example, how would I isolate the consonant י at the end of a form, which I would use to search within 1 of any noun following? I guess I would also be interested in isolating י at the beginning of a form, and using it to search within 1 of any noun preceding. Thanks. Michel Gilbert
Hi Mark, Yes, exactly. I thought someone would be able to answer it in a second, and save me the time looking up how to do it. Thank you. Regards, Michel
Joel Brown
Remember to use an INFLECT element instead of LEX if you are looking for the written form.
Michel Gilbert
Hi, What I intend to do is read the hits in unpointed Hebrew. Has Acc ever considered a tagged unpointed text? Regards, Michel
Timothy Jenney
Michel, While we don't have an unpointed text, you can export the search results (or any Hebrew) as an unpointed text. Check Go to Preferences>Export and choose Strip "Vowels and Cantillation" under Hebrew.
