Michel Gilbert
Hi, Crossover will soon have an Android App for tablets with Intel processors, see https://www.codeweavers.com/porting/android . Would Acc consider partnering with Crossover for an Android installer, the way BW did for their Mac installer? That way, we could run the full version of Acc on an Android tablet. I guess you could partner with them for the full version on iOS as well. I would be willing to pay extra for a Crossover installer. BW used to charge $6.99 for theirs. Of course, it would be fantastic if Acc is already working on an Android app that would work on ARM and Intel processors. I would love to have Acc mobile on Android if I couldn't have the full version. Regards, Michel
R. Mansfield
I'm not here to answer for the company, but in my opinion, a full Accordance desktop experience on a tablet that is not designed for a desktop experience, is simply not a good experience. There's too much of the traditional desktop experience for Accordance in Mac and Windows that anticipates a mouse--from crossover highlighting to expand and close icons in zones. When I wrote my blog post "8 Tips for Running Accordance on a Windows Tablet," the very first tip I made was to get a tablet with a digitizer built in that would work with an active stylus. With these in place, Windows senses the stylus, even when held a half-inch or more from the screen and responds in the same way that it does when someone uses a mouse. When I've run Accordance on Windows tablets that don't employ a an active stylus, the software simply won't function correctly. You can run it, but it's frustrating, and I don't recommend it. Granted, there are Android phones and tablets, such as the Galaxy Note, that use a stylus. I don't know how a Windows program under Crossover would work with these. Regardless, though, most do not come with a stylus, and I would predict that most people running a full version of Accordance on an Android tablet under this scenario would be frustrated. Just as we created a Windows version of Accordance that adheres to Windows interface conventions (as opposed to running in emulation), I believe the best Android experience of Accordance will be in a dedicated Android app that uses Android conventions. And that will eventually be here. No, I don't have a date.
Alistair
I remember when Accordance only ran on a Mac, and people would say they only bought a Mac so they could use Accordance. How the times have changed.
Michael Miles
I remember when Accordance only ran on a Mac, and people would say they only bought a Mac so they could use Accordance. How the times have changed. I bought my 17" MacBook Pro specifically for Accordance. Accordance on a Mac is the best combination for a solid Bible Study experience. I'd really rather that Accordance just stuck to what they have taken on and continue to grow those apps and the content. I can do without Accordance on my Galaxy Player 5 or the table top jukebox at the neighborhood diner.

Michael Miles
Yeah, I NEED Accordance on my original Nintendo Gameboy and my Newton MessagePad 2000… Check out Logos. They probably have apps for those and your Dell Axim X51. Probably not for the ColecoVision or Commodore VIC-20 YET though. Coming soon!
