Dictation for Notes

Well, I managed to figure out how to get Accordance to take input from the OS X dictation feature by first enabling enhanced dictation in the system preferences and then afterwards going to the accessibility portion of system preferences and enabling dictation commands.  The notes will actually update text, but the text is all gibberish. Changing the font has no effect.

Dictation even works in this forum software. It would be nice if it worked in Accordance for notes.

Try it again now.  The accordance folks must have done some work in this direction.  It is okay, now but not great. Several of the editing commands that are there in dictation do not work, so there is constant keyboarding, but I am very pleased to see the progress in this direction.  I have also tried Dragon.  Its dictation works okay, but its interaction with accordance, program to program is weak.  I have abandoned it for the Apple resident program.

I would like to circle back on this. The MAC dictation feature is really improved. This is the non enhanced version. The tap the function button twice level of functionality. It works perfectly in accordance with one exception. Whenever you dictate something and stop and restart it makes this mistake:

Why did he change the subjectTo this?

It loses its space and restarts with a capital.

At first the answer seems that you shouldn't stop and restart in the middle of a sentence. If you stop dictation at the end of the sentence the next sentence correctly starts with a capital. But the space is lost.

So close to perfect!

And while it seems like a minor issue but we are not talking about a luxury item here. Some, because of health conditions, are forced into dictation. I consideration of them, it would be nice to get this working.
