Problem with GNT-Byzantine 2005

I wasn't quite sure where to post this.  Please move if it belongs in a different category.

I just set up a window to compare various Greek texts at 1 Jn 5:7ff.  When I checked the Compare box I got this using the NA28th as the base text.

Then I switched the base text to Byz-2005 and got this.

Yes, there are differences in the text, but not that many!  The text of the Byz-2005 seems to be misaligned.

P.S.  The problem is present in both 11.08 and 11.1 beta 4.

Still a problem.  It starts at 1Jn 5:9 and goes to the end of the book.  Note that if, in the Byz, 1Jn 5:10 is placed at the top, the other two texts are at verse 9.  If I do a verse search in this window for 1Jn 1:9, the Byz comes up --.

Is there something I'm not understanding here?

I can duplicate the error. The text is not aligning correctly.

It looks like the famous comma Iohanneum which is found in the Textus Receptus disrupts the alignment. There are two connected problems:

1) the Textus Receptus has a text that is not found in the other texts, namely the whole εν τω ουρανω πατηρ λογος και πνευμα αγιον και ουτοι οι τρεις εν εισιν και τρεις εισιν οι μαρτυρουντες εν τη γη

2) to reflect the different text, also the verse numbers are different in the Textus Receptus

It is possible that this wasn't fully taken into account when the module for the Textus Receptus was built.

Thanks for the heads-up. This was an issue with the Byzantine text. An update should be ready for download later this afternoon.

Thanks!

EDIT:  I don't think any other Bible Software company could possibly be more responsive than Accordance!
