mortenjensen
Hi all, All of a sudden, I get an error message when opening Acc. It says that certain texts are missing, among those two user modules. I haven't changed anything. I get two splash screens: 1: Where is the missing text. 2: Upon force closed, I was able to get the second splash screen that identifies four missing texts. What do I do? Where are the installed texts and modules located? As it stands now, I am unable to open Acc since I cannot bypass the first splash screen. Thanks! mortenjensen
One other thing, I found the user files using this links: http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX11/content/topics/09_haat/files_in_accordance_folders.htm However, it seems that DAN1871 simply is deleted from my HD. How do I bypass this splash screen so Acc just opens with another work space? Morten
Lorinda H. M. Hoover
See this article for directions on starting in Safe Mode Once there, check the option for Remove Startup Session. That should allow Accordance to open. After that you will probably need to remove the missing items from the library (They will likely still be on the list) and then use Easy Install to Reinstall them. mortenjensen
Thanks, unfortunately, it did not work. However, I downloaded the DAN1871-user bible and opt+ opened it. This brought Acc. back. It then turned out that 70 texts and modules were gone, which I am right now downloading through Easy Install. Any suggestions as to why this has happened? Morten Or: did this happen since I chose "rebuild modules" and "rebuild texts" (or something like that, an option under safe mode) Edited November 17, 2015 by mortenjensen
