Hi,

It would be great to have Introduction to the Tiberian Masorah by Israel Yeivin in an electronic format.

Regards,

Michel

I'd buy it as well.  My print copy has pages that are beginning to come loose.

Yes, please! The typewriterly font used in the book is hard on the eyes too.

Gentlemen,

I very much doubt that there is an existing e-text for this 1985 publication by SBL. There would need to be a LOT of interest before we'd consider trying to have someone OCR and proof this text. It is still very difficult to OCR anything non-Roman language—and even more so for languages (like Hebrew) that use dots. It's disheartening just how often a flyspeck or grain in a piece of paper looks like a dot (or vice-versa).

Oops!

B. Tan, I am so sorry. Please accept my apologies. (I'd edit my earlier post, but it won't let me.)

I'm pleased to see this is not a "guys only" discussion!

So, the book is 324 pages long (including indexes). If 13 people each took 25 pages to proofread and correct...

Here is a neat 3-page review of Yeivin's book by Emanuel Tov.
