But my Accordance software crashes so much, I have problems updating, and or downloading my already purchased add-on's. I have the same problems On my Macbook OSX El Capitan 10.11.1, iPhone 6S plus iOS 9.1, and iPod 4.

 

I live in China so I know that if I want to download my purchases (like I am currently trying to do to my iPhone 6) things are extremely slow, for example, take the Yale Bible dictionary (6 Volumes). I spent two hours downloading only to have the app crash. I often get a message saying installation error or the app just outright crashes as its in the process of downloading. The phone is new as I got it yesterday and it is my very first smart phone so if there is something I can do to fix these issues please let me know. Yes, I have gone into the settings and clicked "clear download cache", remove saved session, etc. It's so frustrating I just want to be able to read and study the Bible to prepare my stuff while I take the long bus/subway trips. 

 

This exact same problem I have with my iPod and often suffer from the same on my macbook, but I finally got everything downloaded onto my mac so its not a bother so much anymore. Although it does crash a few times a week.

Hi Ashadelo,

 

Sorry for your troubles with Easy Install. If you are able to download all of your purchases to your MacBook then you might want to try to install your modules to your iOS devices using WiFi Syncing. This should be faster that Easy Install and you can easily select smaller groups of modules to install (I recommend smaller groups if you have to download many modules).

I am finding Acc 11.1.1 on ElCap 10.11.1 is crashing a whole lot more—previous versions hardly crashed at all.

Please email us some crash reports, and especially if you have any clue what actions trigger the crash.

How do I end crash reports on an iOS device?

 

edit: btw, thanks for all the help. I really appreciate it and I honestly love Accordance, but the crashing and stuff gets bothersome

Ashadelo,

 

I think Helen was responding to the crashing on the desktop (AllStair and you). Did you attempt to WiFi sync?

Yes, actually I am in the process of syncing my iPod right now. The iPhone sync went smoothly and was a tremendous help.
