11.1 still flickering

Hello,

The last update flickered terribly as does this more recent update but subsequently the "define ranges" window has been fixed.

Is there a way to fix the flickering to avoid having to roll back to 10.8?

I have Vista Ultimate 64 on Lenovo X200 tablet and Vista Ultimate 32 on Gateway desktop and they both respond the same.

Thanks,

Jeff Brown

Are you both sure that there are no applicable system updates for your computers?

Orly Margolis recommended the following:

<<<Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Window Color and Appearance. If the Appearance Settings dialog box is not displayed, at the bottom of the page, click Open classic appearance properties. In the Color scheme list, select another color scheme, and then click OK. It is in the section of how to turn Aero off.>>>

The Appearance Setting dialog box WAS displayed for me but I went ahead and clicked "Open classic appearance properties" and selected "Windows Vista Basic" and the flickering stopped, I then changed it back to "Aero" and the flickering came back and finally changed it back to "basic" again and it went away. The "Aero" setting is causing the problem.

Thanks,

Jeff

I had to change the Color scheme to Windows Vista Basic in order to avoid the flickering.
