KevinPurcell
I just installed Accordance 11 on Windows 10 (Surface Pro 4) because I just got a new device. During the setup process the Dropbox link button wouldn't do anything so I continued with the setup without linking to my Dropbox account. Now that it's fully installed and all books downloaded I opened preferences and went to the Sync section in Preferences. I click on the button and nothing happens. If i hit OK it crashes Accordance. If I hit Cancel nothing happens.
djc1956
Hi Kevin, I had exactly the same problem on my Surface Pro 3 when I installed Accordance 11, after upgrading to Windows 10. After much discussion with Accordance, Ryan at support came up with a suggestion that finally worked. It turns out that when I upgraded to windows 10 no default browser was set. When I went into settings and set a default browser, I set Chrome as default, then the dropbox link button under preferences and syncing in Accordance, opened the dropbox site in Chrome and accepted my credentials, and it set up the link correctly. My notes are now correctly syncing between Accordance on my Surface, my Macbook Pro and my Iphone. I hope this helps. BTW, I really enjoy your Theotek podcast.
