Fabian
Hello I had a question: For what is this function? Has it to open on a matching entry? If yes then it seems to be broken. If no, then I would love to see such a function, where it goes right to a matching entry. Greetings Fabian Edited January 2, 2016 by Fabian
Helen Brown
It opens the Parallel database IF your selection is in a verse that is included in the top Parallel database. This tends to be a waste of time, so now it's much better to use the Info pane where you can see immediately when there are parallels to the top verse, and go to them directly. Fabian
Thanks. I have now opened Parallels and have looked for a verse which is in. I go then to the Bible and had tested. Matt 1,1 is in the Gospels Parallel (Aland), but to start from the Bible it doesn't work. But Rom 1,1 works and will go to NT Epistele Parallels. So this works. Conclusion some are broken. But your suggest is perhaps the best solution. Greetings Fabian
Λύχνις Δαν
Hey Fabian, Checkout the Parallels folder in your library. What is your top most parallel ? If I move Gospel Parallels (Aland) to the top I can open the parallel from the context menu. If it isn't then Mark 1:1 won't trigger it. My guess is that you have NT Epistele Parallels at the top. Fabian
Hi Daniel yes you are right, thats it. But it is not so, that if Accordance can't find an entry it goes to the next module? In Dictionaries etc. this is so. Greetings Fabian
Λύχνις Δαν
I wondered about that too, but based on Helen's comment above and the tested behaviour I would assume not. Thx D
