With the release of 11.2, Accordance will be completely Cocoa native. And the Split Screen feature is working great :-)

Can somebody tell me the benefits of Cocao?  Does it just make coding easier or are there noticeable benefits for the front end user?

The major benefit will be that it supports all kinds of Mac features that we have not been able to implement until now, such as VoiceOver (for years) and Split Screen (new).

Cocoa has many UI conventions. Is Accordance in the initial release going to adopt these or is that more of a 12.x thing?

Also is Roy still hands on the Cocoa port or have you delegated all of that out?

Will having a Cocoa release make getting awesomeness into the iOS platform easier?

I know many of these questions may have vague or elusive answers. I'm fine with that :)

Great news on this! I know it's been long in coming!

The 11.2 release doesn't change much in terms of interface, just underlying technology and some nice new features.

All of our development is done in-house, and Roy is very much an integral part of the development team.

iOS is getting some awesomeness, so don't worry :)  But, in general this doesn't help too much because iOS delays are more due to interface differences (desktop/keyboard mouse vs touch) than code.

I hope this helps!
