How Do I Search All Journals for a topic?

Enoch

Recommended Posts

This morning I opened my library, brought up the journals folder, and easily executed a search for articles on Josiah.  The list was beautifully on the screen.  So I x'd out the left stuff, with its white glare, just to look at one article on the right in eye-easing green on black.  But after I had read one article, I found no way to get those results again.  I tried & tried to search all journals again for Josiah, but I could not find any way to do it!  I don't know how I did it exactly the first time; trying to repeat would not work.

So I am puzzled as to how I was able to do it so easily at first, but now cannot do it again.  How can I search all journals for articles on Josiah?  Thanks in advance

Thanks Timothy, but how do I get that drop down menu?  I tried both in library & in the regular workspace search window.  I could not get the menu your screen shot shows.  Tnx.

Enoch, click on the magnifying glass on the left side of the search box. Use the Research Search box in your Toolbar to select which of your resources to search (in this case, "Journals").

Enoch, click on the magnifying glass on the left side of the search box. Use the Research Search box in your Toolbar to select which of your resources to search (in this case, "Journals").

1) When I click on the mag glass, all I get is this menu:

-[all text]

-clear history

-flex search

-exact search

2) I don't see any "Research Search box" in the Toolbar

Is your workspace window perhaps to small? In that case there will be a double-arrow on the right side of the toolbar. Clicking on the double-arrow will expose the research pane.
