markchenhalls
Did not know where else to put this crazy thought It may not be long before the Virtual Reality (Oculus, etc.) apps allow a person to view sites in Israel, mock-ups of the temple, etc. It would be nice if the APIs within Accordance will allow a person to link those images with Logos (like a Word Study on steroids) So a person experiencing a virtual walk-through of the temple would “click” an icon which would bring up related Logos information on the temple and its furnishings. This will merge technology that engages the virtual senses with knowledge based on all the previous centuries and allow an Accordance Library to adapt to an ever changing environment
markchenhalls
The 3D Exhibition Cyber-Archaeology tour from UC San Diego provides an example of what can be done https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A32LSjoG2h4 Once Virtual Reality becomes more affordable, we will ALL be able to see Israel A lot safer - tour the sites in Egypt and Iraq without ISIS A lot quicker - no jet lag and no body cavity inspections at the airport A lot cooler - see in your air-conditioned room A lot easier on the stomach - no turista A lot cheaper - No need for a hotel Edited April 23, 2016 by markchenhalls
