Ken Simpson
Here is a C as C from Calvin’s Commentaries. He shows, therefore, in what manner he would obtain glory to himself from such a death. It is, because by it387 he glorifies God the Father; for in the cross of Christ:, as in a magnificent theater, the inestimable goodness of God is displayed before the whole world. In all the creatures, indeed, both high and low, the glory of God shines, but nowhere has it shone more brightly than in the cross, in which there has been an astonishing change of things, the condemnation of all men has been manifested, sin has been blotted out, salvation has been restored to men; and, in short, the whole world has been renewed, and every thing restored to good order. John Calvin, Calvin’s Commentaries (Complete) (trans. John King; Accordance electronic ed. Edinburgh: Calvin Translation Society, 1847), n.p. note the superscript after “because by it” on the top line. Copy as “no superscripts” does strip the superscript correctly. I haven’t tried in other tools. 11.1.5 Mac
farcas
Interestingly enough, on Bibles where I have the superscripts off in the display, they still come through on my copy. So some kind of superscript bug. Related to copying, I can't seem to copy lexemes anymore with the key command: ⌘ ⌥ ⌃ C. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Thanks! Joel Brown
Farcas, if I copy normally (Cmd-C), it copies what is shown on the text: Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. If I copy as a citation, (Cmd-Ctrl-C), whether or not superscripts are shown is determined in Preferences -> Citation -> Hide superscripts. Lexeme copy always seems to work for me, can you describe what happens when it doesn't work?
