Info-Pane and Study Bibles

I appreciate that I made this suggestion a good while back, but thought I'd flag it up again with the release of the new Zondervan Study Bible. I think it would be great if the study bibles had their own section in the Info-Pane.  If you have a very large set of commentaries, then it's most likely (as you reach your limit) that you will lose some of your study bibles at the bottom of the list.  I appreciate that we can drag our favourite study bible up to a higher level in the library, but that would just defeat the well-organised library structure.

First off: I think the Info Pane is the killer feature of Acc 11. Kudos to the Acc-team for bringing this feature to the table.

Then, I would also love to see it enhanced and made more flexible. As a matter of fact, would it not be an idea that the divisions in the Info Pane simply follow the divisions in the Library? Then you could set up your own collections:

- scholarly commentaries

- application commentaries

- dictionaries

- grammars

- atlases

- etc.

One thing I really miss in the Info Pane is a way to have entries in grammars shown. Like: all the references to a given verse in my Greek grammars.

This is not an option right now, is it?

In order to fix this problem I've just moved up my study Bible first in my commentaries. That way it shows up first in the info pane.

Thank you asmit421, yes this is a possible answer and am glad that it works for you.  The problem is that I have over a dozen study bibles (all which I use regularly).  The library structure in Accordance is excellent and helps me remember and locate books very quickly.  I'm reluctant to move things out of those groups for that very reason.

Paul – I feel exactly the same way.  I have a bunch of commentaries, and a bunch of study Bibles.  I just don't want to combine them.  I know that we can search – I do that when I get stuck – but it slows things down.
