Variant verses in Sirach missing in NABRE Notes module

I was reading Sirach 19 in NETS, and noticed verses in brackets and italics. I wanted to see how they were translated in NABRE, the NABRE notes "Other ancient texts read as vv (or v) 18, 19; 21, etc" (not 20b, also in NETS) but the text of said verses is absent. The verse numbers are links, but instant details is blank when hovering over them. Clicking the link does not produce the missing text.

 

These variant verses do appear in the print edition of NABRE. They also are found in Göttingen Sirach (but not Ralph's nor Swete).

 

They are found in the print notes of the New Jerusalem, but alas, Accordance has never had the NJB Notes (I suspect they were never supplied in the electronic text). I have asked for those before, but see little hope of seeing them.

 

I did report one instance of this phenomena via Report a Correction, but this appears to be a global issue in the NABRE Notes module as related to Sirach (e.g., Sir 20:32). I do not know how difficult it would be to add the missing text. I wonder if it was in the supplied e-text (given the recent provenance of this translation, it would be surprising if it was not part of the e-text).

 

Please consider revising NABRE Notes to include the missing variant text.

I know the notes of the full version of the NJB is one of the things that I wish to have most in my electronic library but seems a low priority for most.I know FL is offering to do them but they have not yet made it through their prepub system, so it may never come to being.

This is the full text start of Hebrews:

1 At many moments in the past and by many means, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets; 2 but in our time, the final days, a he has spoken to us in the person of his Son, b whom he appointed heir of all things c and through whom he made the ages. d 3 He is the reflection of God’s glory and bears the impress of God’s own being, e sustaining all things by his powerful command; and now that he has purged sins away, he has taken his seat at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high. 4 So he is now as far above the angels as the title which he has inherited is higher than their own name. 

  a. In the fullness of time, Mk 1:15Ga 4:4c, the last times or the last days begin, Ac 2:171 P 1:20
  b. After the prophets, God sends an envoy who is no longer a mere messenger like the others; he is ‘Son’, cf. Mk 12:2-6Rm 1:4c, he is even the Word, Jn 1:1a14m
  c. To be a son implies having the right to inherit, cf. Mt 21:38Ga 4:7. Here, however, God is credited with the handing over of the whole creation because the inheritance in question is messianic and eschatological. 
  d. Hebraism for the whole of creation. 
  e. These two metaphors are borrowed from the sophia and logos theologies of Alexandria, Ws 7:25-26; they express both the identity of nature between Father and Son, and the distinction of persons. The Son is the brightness, the light shining from its source, which is the bright glory, see Ex 24:16f, of the Father (‘Light from Light’). He is also the replica, see Col 1:15d, of the Father’s substance, like an exact impression made by a seal on clay or wax, cf. Jn 14:9.

 

Not that i expect Accordance to offer it BUT if they really wanted too, I'd buy it instantly.

Version 2.1 of NABRE Notes is ready to download that adds the missing content to Sirach. Sorry it took so long! I just noticed this thread.
