Are all the Scripture proofs included?

I would like to know if all the Scripture proofs are included in the Creeds, Confessions, and Catechisms module? I am most interested at the moment in the Westminster Larger, Shorter, and Heidelberg Catechisms. Thank you!

The creeds are not annotated in that module, here is a sample of the Heidelberg Catechism:

1. What is thy only comfort in life and death? HC 1

That I with body and soul, both in life and death,1 am not my own,2 but belong unto my faithful Saviour Jesus Christ;3 who, with his precious blood, has fully satisfied for all my sins,4 and delivered me from all the power of the devil;5 and so preserves me6 that without the will of my heavenly Father, not a hair can fall from my head;7 yea, that all things must be subservient to my salvation,8 and therefore, by his Holy Spirit, He also assures me of eternal life,9 and makes me sincerely willing and ready, henceforth, to live unto him.10

The creeds Apostles and Nicene are annotated and explained heavily in the Catholic catechism... The closest thing to proofed I know of in an Accordance module is TCR (Apostles only):

The following is an example of The Apostles’ Creed:

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, A maker of heaven and earth;B And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:C who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,D born of the Virgin Mary,E suffered under Pontius Pilate,F was crucified,G dead,H and buried,I the third day he rose from the dead;J he ascended into heaven,K and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;L from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.M

I believe in the Holy Spirit,N the holy catholic Church,O the communion of saints,P the forgiveness of sins,Q the resurrection of the body,R and the life everlasting.S  Amen.

Some do, some don't. Since you seem to be interested in the reformed standards, here are screen shots of the three catechisms. Westminster confession and Canons of Dort also have proofs, but Belgic confession does not. That said, the Creeds module is a really handy resource. I use it a lot.

Thanks to both.  I greatly appreciate it.  I wonder if the creeds that are not annotated in the module can be annotated in the future, and for the Westminster Larger Catechism to include all Scripture proof texts?

We can certainly look into updating the Creeds module, but those interested in the creeds might also want to look at Schaff's 3-volume Creeds of Christendom. It includes a history of the creeds along with the text of each creed in its original language in parallel with the English translation. I just checked, and it includes all the Scripture proofs for the Westminster Larger Catechism and the Belgic Confession. Interestingly, it does not appear to include proofs for the Westminster Shorter Catechism.

Thank you David!  Please do update the Creeds module (and the Creeds of Christendom to include those Scripture proofs), and let us know.  Does the Creeds of Christendom include The Apostles' Creed (with annotations?)?

It has the Apostles Creed though I'm not exactly sure what you mean by annotations. A creed like this doesn't really have proof texts unless someone added them later, which means the proofs aren't a part of the creed anyway. However, this module has a LOT of information, including different versions (such as versions recorded in the writings of different church fathers), different translations (Greek, Latin, English) and notes on them, a discussion of the history of the creed, etc. This module is much more comprehensive in the information provided about creeds than the other resource. On the other hand, I find that the sheer volume of information makes it more cumbersome as a quick reference than the simpler Creeds module.

I have found 'from nicea to chalcedon' by frances young published by scm to be very helpful in some of the discussion around ousia, homoousion and hypostasis. Tthis provides some of the discussion around creed formation but i guess this is more detailed in the schaff volumes. using hard copy of young! ;o)

Am also reading the way to nicea by john behr published by svs press which is part of a trilogy and interesting to get an orthodox perspective"
