seanwinter
Have just updated to 11.2.0 and also purchased some new modules (Early Greek Christian add-on). After the Install of the new modules, Accordance crashed and now when I ask it to recover the most recent autosaved session, it crashes again. Same if I hit cancel on the recovery startup. I have looked for the startup session file in ~Library/Caches but there is no Accordance folder there. Thanks Sean
Helen Brown
Please try the alt/option click as you start Accordance to open it in Safe Mode, and try removing the Startup session there, and the other options if that doesn't work.
seanwinter
Still no joy, I am afraid, Helen. I checked all the boxes in safe startup to be sure. I get to the Setup Assistant, am able to validate my account, click on continue and then a crash again. Thanks Sean

Jason Gaines
I have the same problem immediately after installing 11.2.0. Accordance crashes on startup. I also tried the Safe Mode open you mention above, and still no luck. (I'm trying to post a screenshot, but I can't figure out how.)

Davki
I have the exact same problem as Jason. Downloaded 11.2.0 (in-app). Accordance would then crash upon relaunch. Tried 'Save Mode' without any luck.
Davki
Just for general information. I've contacted the support staff directly. Initially, disabling 'everything' on SafeMode did work, but when downloading missing modules via 'EasyInstall' the app crashed again and is no irrecoverable. Hope to have a working version of Accordance again soon.
sbc
You can try reverting to 11.1.6: http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/18753-a-few-users-reporting-constant-crashing-with-112. Once that is done and Accordance opens again, if you have trouble accessing a "user note" file, locate it on your computer, open it from there, and it should open in Accordance -- and be available to it from within Accordance next time. xkv8r
Same problem here. Running Mac ElCap 10.11.5 (15F34), followed prompt to install latest Accordance version and not it will not launch. I get: Accordance has unfortunately crashed. You can view the crash log in Console.app, or find it in your ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports folder. The crash error report states: Accordance Crash Log Program Version: 11.2.0 OS Version: 10.11.5 Message: Access violation Call trace: $005DE4C5 $002473B7 $002BD5EA $002BE04D $000E5116 $000A7A82 $004BF433 $000AEBD9 $000AEC41 $00299F42 $00299E55 $002BA4B0 $002C1F85 $00233F09 $002335CE $002334B3 $002A781E I tried alt/option and no lock. xkv8r
OK, so the solution is to call Accordance help at (407) 339-5855 and ask for the 11.2.1 beta1 version to be emailed to you. I unzipped it and replaced my Accordance app in the app folder and it launches and works, however, it will not open my stored customized workspaces (crashes). But this will at least get you back up and running again. Thanx to Billy M. for the quick response (< 3 mins!) and the help!! -bc
Helen Brown
We offered this beta in the Mac Bug Swatters section.
