Timothy Jenney
Only when we let those participles prepositions dangle at the end of the sentences we write on. Edited May 31, 2016 by Timothy Jenney
Davki
English is sort of a Germanic language Haha, yes, but not 'German'. In your sentence, only English, is, of and a are 'Germanic' :-). 'File' and 'Edit' are Romance (< Latin). For coherence reasons, I started using the English versions of programmes (yes, British spelling) as far as 15+ years ago. While German and English are both fine for me linguistically, I found that 'localisations' tend to be incoherent. Ah, and yes, there are always spelling mistakes such as 'Kleins Wörterbuch' instead of 'Kleines Wörterbuch' etc. I hope for those that use localisations that they will be improved soon. @Jay : Participles or prepositions?
