Michael Hunt Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Not sure if this is a bug or a setting I haven't changed but since updating to 11.2 I find that whenever I startup Accordance on my mac I now have two tabs open to the NIV instead of the usual one. Solly Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I have also noted this behavior when Preferences-->General-->Startup is set to "Default Search Tab." To get around this I created a workspace with a single Tab and named it "Workspace" and added it to my saved workspaces. I then set Startup to open with "Favorite Workspace" named "Workspace" (the one I had created to give the former behavior.) I don't know if the new double tab with "Default Search Tab" is the intended behavior or not, but it is easy to change the "Startup" setting to ones preference. Λύχνις Δαν Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 There was a bug I reported in 11.2 beta where following a safe mode startup resetting the startup session would then lead to a workspace with two tabs of your default text being opened. This sounds like that issue in a slightly different guise. Ok, I just tried it. If you set startup to Default tab and startup Accordance you get two tabs of your default search text rather than the usual one. Using the option Default Session in Preferences after I have set the Default Session to just a single window with one tab open gives me the desired response.
