Drew_A
These lean towards using the Greek texts but they could be useful in general. Would love to see the following in the (word count) Analysis window display options: 1. Remove the Lexical form and just be able to see the Inflected 2. Ability to delete previously selected categories such as Mood (if added) 3. Export option (rather than copy/ paste) - with formatting options. For Parsing: 1. Also Export options 2. Option to turn off Scripture references Perhaps others might want the same thing or these have been suggested before (or I missed how to do some of these things entirely)
Ken Simpson
Hi Drew, thanks for these suggestions, and while I am not on the dev team, I know they watch the forums quite closely. As to your suggestions, I think we can actually do some of them already. 1. Remove the Lexical form and just be able to see the Inflected After you drag INFLECT into the column, just click on the LEX item at the top and press the delete key. Then voila! ἐγώ (2663 total words) Number of different forms = 22: ἐγώ = 65 ἐγὼ = 265 Ἐγώ = 5 Ἐγὼ = 12 ἐμὲ = 68 ἐμέ = 22 ἐμοὶ = 66 ἐμοί = 23 Ἐμοὶ = 3 ἐμοῦ = 109 ἡμᾶς = 166 ἡμεῖς = 122 Ἡμεῖς = 5 ἡμῖν = 169 ἡμῶν = 401 με = 290 μέ = 1 μοι = 221 μοί = 4 μου = 554 μού = 10 χρασισ = 82 Is that what you meant? 2. Ability to delete previously selected categories such as Mood (if added) Again, just click on MOOD in the column and delete it using the delete key 3. Export option (rather than copy/ paste) - with formatting options Yes, not possible, I don’t know if it is on the “todo” list or not. As to the parsing requests - yes, as far as I know these capabilities are not present. Hope that helps.
Drew_A
Thanks Ken! I thought I tried everything to delete those categories. I finally realized I've been using a PC keyboard connected to my Macbook (which is when I do all my main Accordance work). The "backspace" key is tied to to "delete" in this instance rather than the actual "delete" key. Alas it works ! that makes larger searches vastly clearer. Perhaps a double click or right click option to delete could be added (for the simple and weary student likemyself ) Hopefully the other requests might be added to the to/do list.
