Philip Arellond
Hello I have been trying to import an html of public domain Ancient Greek writers such as Xenophon and others. Unfortunately I regularly get the spinning beach ball. My order of trying to make a user tool is to create a new user tool, naming it with an English name. Then I select import user tool the Text is visible but the spinning beach ball causes Accordance not to respond. What am I doing wrong. (I have the latest Accordance on a 2012 Macbook Pro. Thanks for any help Philip
Helen Brown
What format is the file in? You can check it against the detailed instructions in the Help files.
Philip Arellond
Hi Helen, I have made html's either from "Save as..." page source in Safari. Or from pasting text into Libre Office and exporting at xml/html. After your recommendation for the help files, I ultimately found them in a New sample tool. Thanks for that tip, I've managed to get the Anabasis working.
