I am simply posting to ask if there has been any interest or momentum building around the possible development of an app to run on the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Apple is not releasing the SDK for third-party developers until February 2008, but that doesn't prevent some advance consideration. I do not know what kind of challenges developing a simplified version of Accordance for such a device would pose, but it seems like a logical direction from a marketing vantage. Since Accordance already dominates the Mac bible software market, why wouldn't they be the ones to jump on the band wagon with Apple's move towards handheld apps? I know such an application would definitely increase my appreciation of this product and would appeal to a good number of students and clergy considering bible software.
