New defined Range

Recommended Posts

When I start a text search and define a new range (e.g., 2Peter) and then save the new "range," typically I want to use that range right away. But it is frustrating that the  I always finish making the search area but the range is still set on the old setting (in this case OT in the red circle). I have to then go through an extra step of making this new defined search (2Pet) my new search area. It seems very counterintuitive.  It is just an irritation and wondered if there was a fix for it or at least a button in "Define ranges" that allowed me to make this my new search area.

I hope i am just overlooking something simple here.

It used to work, so something got broken. I confirm that creating an new range and clicking update no longer resets the range in the front tab. I expect we will be able to fix it soon. Thanks for the heads up.

I noticed this too in the past. I think it's fixed now. At least it works now on PC (11.2.3.0) whereas last time I looked at this it wasn't working (but I forgot to note it).

Although Dan - are you on Accordance 7? (at least, according to your profile you are!)

Hallo Douglas

I am running Accordance 10.4.5. Need to update my profile obviously.

Danke fürs Feedback, Fabian. Ich hab mein Accordance auf Englisch eingestellt.

Grüße,

Daniel

P.S. Going on vacation now. Not able to reply for the week.
