Some shortcuts not working with non-default keyboard layout

I'm using Accordance 11.2.3 on a German Windows 8.1 x64 installation and as soon as I add for example the Green Polytonic keyboard layout some keyboard shortcuts are not working. Ones that I found not working are: CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+W. Others like CTRL+T are working however.

I tested this on a separate machine with a new Accordance installation. On my main machine I use a custom layout that I created using KbdEdit. I first thought that something is wrong with my custom layout, but it seems to happen with standard layouts, too.

Here is are the Windows language settings:

As soon as I switch to Greek Polytonic using the icon in the Windows taskbar the shortcut issue occurs.

In other applications MS Word or notepad the shortcuts work fine.

Hi Elijah.

Is it still an issue?

Not sure what the issue is (I'm not a tech person), but are you using the Greek keyboard while in Accordance? You can use your standard keyboard - it will automatically type in English(bzw. Deutsch!)/Greek/Hebrew according to what you're trying to do.

Again, I don't know, but it could be trying to use that keyboard is confusing things.

If switching back to normal keyboard doesn't help, try contacting support@accordancebible.com

yes, it's still an issue in Accordance 11.2.4

I use the hebrew and greek keyboard layouts that come with Windows, because I want to write in greek/hebrew in other applications like MS Word.

Everytime I want to copy something from Accordance I have to switch the keyboard layout to German.

I installed a few other keyboard layouts, same problem with Russian and Georgian, it works with Spanish (Spain), Danish.

It seems to me like keyboard layouts that use some kind of latin based layout are working fine, but layouts that have completly different characters like Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Georgian cause an issue.

Yeah not sure then. To trouble shoot you can always go back to a Latin keyboard to type in Accordance, but it sounds like that is a hassle (windows-space is the shortcut key).

Try contacting support and they might be able to let the developers know.
