Hello

Many thanks for the 2.4 Upgrade.

Unfortunately in the Interlinear mode the Greek Bible (LXX + GNT) crash after 5 seconds. I had no Göttingen installed, this may be the problem.

Greetings

Fabian

This text doesn't use Göttingen, but Swete's LXX and Wescott/Hort's GNT.

Hello Tim

I know what you mean, but as interlinear like on the Mac there I can add the Göttingen.

It crashes anyway.

Maybe it's time to give money to Apple for a new iPhone.

Greetings

Fabian

Accordance ios crashed a few times when i first installed 2.4 but just changed some of the ios settings and it has been behaving itself. ( also got strange behaviour in pub last night on iphone but that stabilised when i got home! Not sure what its telling me)

Haven't got lxx (yet) but 2.4 seems stable with gnt-t, gnt-trs and hmt-w4 for me though there is an interesting appearance with lots of single letters when the turbo charged niv is added. Havent upgraded to ios 10 yet, still on 9.

But it is just so great have have the flexible interlinear. Mega wow.

Hey,

So you open LXX-GNT and turn on Interlinear and get an immediate crash? Does the Interlinear info began to show before crashing and what Interlinear setting(s) do you have on?

Thanks,

Chris

Glad to see your excitement about Interlinear. Those single character in NIV-GKE are present on the desktop app as well and I'm not exactly sure if that's part of the Interlinear info or a bug. If you have anymore crashes in 2.4, let us know.

Thanks,

Chris

I've reported those characters before; It's an obscure bug. Just ignore them. If you view the interlinear from English > Greek/Hebrew you won't see them as well.

Hello Chris

The Interlinear was as search text by installing 2.4. So the settings was the default ones. Yes the interlinear was shown for a second, that happens a few time, Accordance has then restarted. I have then cleared the interlinear settings in the prefs.

Now I was able to start with the ESVi and go to the LXX + GNT, then I was able to scroll etc. After quit and interlinear and go to interlinear the same issue comes again.

Greetings

Fabian

Thanks rick and chris.

I virtually never use the full fat version these days and as ios accordance develops, I will be using it less and less.

The great beauty of the way this has been developed is i can easily switch translations in a couple of clicks.

Hi Fraser,

I'm leaning in the same direction. If development ever included the construct search, I'd use the iOS version 90% of the time. Just letting Acc know, along with you, that development of the iOS version is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Michel
