Internal Error

I have gotten the following dialogue box multiple times. I am unable to actually select anything and have to force quit Accordance. Upon restarting it, the same problem arises. Any suggestions/solutions?

Please confirm what OS you are using, what Accordance version, and what action precipitates this dialog. Is there a crash report?

macOs Sierra

Accordance 11.2.4

Merely opening the program leads to this issue. The program is completely unusable.

I am unable to select any of the options in the above dialogue box and so I cannot get a crash report. I have to force quit the app each time.

I got this also every time I use as shortcut-key or want to use some pull down menus.

Its absolute (80%) impossible zu work with Accordance.

Now I have done a clean install of Sierra. The modules are download right now, so I can say if it has helped.

I have send Joel all crash logs. Hopefully he can kill the bug.

Greetings

Fabian

Unfortunately, the bug is still alive.

Hmmm I have download now some modules and the most are in the category tools, no commentary section, no Apparatus section, no journal section etc.

ok. all once again.

I can only quit  with force quit.

Thanks Jordan for you post, I was thinking I'm the only one.

Greetings

Please send your contact information to support so that one of us can screenshare with one of you and try to see what is happening.

After new install, the same issue comes up again.

Plus the freezing bug of Accordance, which I had after upgrade to Yosemite, is resurrected. I often had then also force Quit Yosemite, so that the file system got corrupt. I'm sure Joel can remember. I was hoping with the clean install the problems were gone.

The library is normal now.

But the two other bug makes it impossible to works with Accordance.

I can't get Accordance to open either - I don't know if this is Sierra or a crash which happened because of the invasive 'instalment plan check' caused a crash (BTW your 7 day check is a really terrible way to 'treat' customers who have never missed a payment etc.)

I emailed the crash log to support but they won't get back till Monday I guess so I will post it here in case anyone has any ideas

Interesting

In El Cap I hadn't issues like this but before and after, maybe this is a problem http://www.macworld.com/article/3095835/storage/how-to-configure-a-software-raid-in-macos-sierra-s-disk-utility.html

My last clean install was without an admin and an user login. Only an admin, and the problems are not gone.

Fabian: Thanks for the screenshare session. After reinstalling Sierra it seems the main issue you have is that message you get each time you use a command key combination with shift-command-A or command-N. Other than that Accordance is working now.

Jordan: a screenshare with you would be helpful.

Now I have Set the library as pop-over and the library is freezing.

Anyway now are the search with the right click also greyed out.

To quit Accordance is also blocked, cmd-Q and the red dot.

Do you have also a freezing of the library if you use them as pop-over?

Please try it out, post-32723-0-09811900-1474786935_thumb.png, open close them a few times. And try do do a search. See if you have the same issue post-32723-0-58882100-1474787057_thumb.png.

Helen,

I replied to your recent email with information about this. The update did not fix the problem for me.

I don't have tested a lot.

But so far so great. For me the problem are fixed. Except the download Error #9.

I will test it in the week more, but I'm happy with it for the first.

Greetings

I had a similar problem (InternalError) that had this description: Menu to be set as submenu is already a submenu of some menu. With the 11.2.4.1 update it's gone. Thanks.

Hello

I found a bug in 11.2.4.1, the cmd-T shortcut-key didn't work anymore.

Greetings

I confirm the problems Fabian had. Can I also have the link to the 12.4.1 Version of Accordance?

Thanks, Ron
